The Dutch Society for Simulation in Healthcare (DSSH) aims to Support the development and implementation of Simulation and ‘Serious Gaming’ in Healthcare; thus promoting patient safety, evidence-based education, team-training, and overall quality in healthcare.

Gabrielle has been a board member and chair of the Committee on Scientific Research since 2010. She will be hosting the next DSSH conference on March 16th 2016.

Other conference contributions include the organization of a workshop ‘Engineers and simulation: How close to reality must medical simulators be?’ Dutch Society for Simulation in Healthcare, Utrecht, the Netherlands, March 17-18 2011, and she has been chairing several sessions at the 2013 and 2014 conferences.
