Austrian Center for Medical Innovation and Technology (ACMIT) is a research institute located in Wiener Neustadt, Austria who collaborates on several projects including development of a steerable punch and of a hydraulic medical bone drill (2011 – present). The collaboration started with Gabrielle working at their lab as visiting researcher in summer of 2011 & 2012, which was followed by visits of Tim Sprang, Tim Horeman and Wouter Gregoor. In 2015, they host the Design of Medical Devices conference- Europe
