A presentation was given at the SMIT 2015 in BRNO (CZ) to show how our user centred design approach is leading to the introduction of a new Stiff steerable arthroscopic cutter on the market. Since many speakers were struggling with finding structures to do the same, our approach, in which we split the design effort into multiple steps that each focus on different end users i.c.w. the required usability tests, was highly valued.
